Group long-term care insurance means a long-term care insurance policy that is delivered or issued for delivery in this state and issued to:
Nursing Care Plan means a plan developed by a registered nurse that describes the medical, nursing, psychosocial, and other needs of the individual and how those needs shall be met. The Nursing Care Plan includes which tasks shall be taught, assigned, or delegated to the qualified provider or family.
Life insurance producer means any person licensed in this state as a resident or nonresident insurance producer who has received qualification or authority for life insurance coverage or a life line of coverage pursuant to chapter 522B.
Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Sec. 129 or other sections of the Internal Revenue Code.
life insurance business means the business of effecting contracts of insurance upon human life, including any contract whereby the payment of money is assured on death (except death by accident only) or the happening of any contingency dependent on human life, and any contract
Long-term care insurance means any insurance policy or rider primarily advertised, marketed, offered, or designed to provide coverage for not less than twelve consecutive months for each covered person on an expense incurred, indemnity, prepaid, or other basis, for one or more necessary or medically necessary diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, rehabilitative, maintenance, or personal care services provided in a setting other than an acute care unit of a hospital. The term includes group and individual annuities and life insurance policies or riders, whether issued by insurers, fraternal benefit societies, nonprofit health service corporations, prepaid health plans, health maintenance organizations, or any similar entity, which provide directly or which supplement long-term care insurance. The term also includes home health care type insurance policies or riders which provide directly or which supplement long-term care insurance; and includes a policy or rider which provides for payment of benefits based upon cognitive impairment or the loss of functional capacity. The term includes qualified long-term care insurance contracts. The term includes long-term care insurance products issued by insurers; fraternal benefit societies; nonprofit health, hospital, and medical service corporations; prepaid health plans; health maintenance organizations; or a similar organization to the extent that the organization is otherwise authorized to issue life or health insurance. The term does not include any insurance policy that is offered primarily to provide basic Medicare supplement coverage, basic hospital expense coverage, basic medical-surgical expenses coverage, hospital confinement indemnity coverage, major medical expense
Hospitalization means admission in a Hospital for a minimum period of 24 consecutive ‘In- patient Care’ hours except for specified procedures/ treatments, where such admission could be for a period of less than 24 consecutive hours.
Parent 401(k) Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.6(e).
Procurement Plan means the Borrower’s procurement plan for the Project, dated September 22, 2008 and referred to in paragraph 1.16 of the Procurement Guidelines and paragraph 1.24 of the Consultant Guidelines, as the same shall be updated from time to time in accordance with the provisions of said paragraphs.
Seller 401(k) Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 8.7(h).
Medical Foods means any nutritional substances in any form that are:
Medical cannabis card means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
medical food means a food that is intended for the dietary treatment of a disease or condition for which nutritional requirements are established by medical evaluation and is formulated to be consumed or administered enterally under the direction of a Practitioner.
Medicare benefit means the Medicare benefit payable within the meaning of Part II of the Health Insurance Act 1973 with respect to a professional service.
Parent Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(c).
Medical physicist means a person trained in evaluating the performance of mammography equipment and facility quality assurance programs and who meets the qualifications for a medical physicist set forth in 41.6(3)“c.”
Parent Plan means a “pension plan” (as defined in Section 3(2) of ERISA (other than a Parent Multiemployer Plan)), a “welfare plan” (as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA) or any bonus, profit sharing, deferred compensation, incentive compensation, stock ownership, stock purchase, stock option, phantom stock, holiday pay, vacation, severance, death benefit, sick leave, fringe benefit, insurance or other plan, arrangement or understanding, in each case established or maintained by Parent or any of its ERISA Affiliates or as to which Parent or any of its ERISA Affiliates has contributed or otherwise may have any liability; (ii) “Parent Multiemployer Plan” means a “multiemployer plan” (as defined in Section 4001(a)(3) of ERISA) to which Parent or any of its ERISA Affiliates is or has been obligated to contribute or otherwise may have any liability; and (iii) with respect to any Person, “ERISA Affiliate” means any trade or business (whether or not incorporated) which is under common control or would be considered a single employer with such Person pursuant to Section 414(b), (c), (m) or (o) of the Code and the rules and regulations promulgated under those sections or pursuant to Section 4001(b) of ERISA and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.
Palliative and supportive care means care and support aimed mainly at lessening or controlling pain or symptoms; it makes no attempt to cure the Covered Person's terminal Illness or terminal Injury.
Flexible vinyl adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond flexible vinyl to substrates. Flexible vinyl means a nonrigid polyvinyl chloride plastic with at least five percent, by weight, of plasticizer content. A plasticizer is a material, such as a high boiling point organic solvent, that is incorporated into a vinyl to increase its flexibility, workability, or distensibility, and may be determined using ASTM Method E260-91 or from product formulation data.
Dental hygienist means an individual licensed under this chapter to practice as a dental hygienist.
Dental means of or relating to the teeth and the work of a dentist.
Vision means Vision Opportunity Master Fund, Ltd.
Management Plan means a plan to manage the activities and protect the special value or values in an Antarctic Specially Protected Area or an Antarctic Specially Managed Area.
Orthodontic means a type of specialist dental treatment carried out by an orthodontist that diagnoses, prevents and corrects mispositioned teeth and jaws and misaligned bite patterns.
Company 401(k) Plan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.09(e).
