Eligible Dependent definition

Eligible Dependent means a person who is eligible for coverage under this Agreement according to the terms of the applicable Subscriber Agreement(s), including coverage under COBRA.
Eligible Dependent means a child of an Eligible Retiree who satisfies the requirements for eligibility described in the Eligibility section of this document.
Eligible Dependent means an individual who is or becomes eligible to enroll for coverage under this Plan as a Dependent.

Examples of Eligible Dependent in a sentence

  • Eligible Dependents not enrolled on the day the Individual becomes eligible or within 31 days of their becoming an Eligible Dependent, will not be eligible to enroll until the next open enrollment period.


More Definitions of Eligible Dependent

Eligible Dependent means a dependent that qualifies for health care coverage pursuant to paragraph (D) or (E) of this rule.
Eligible Dependent means a Participant's Eligible Spouse, Eligible Domestic Partner and/or Eligible Child provided such individual also qualifies for tax-free health coverage under the Code.

Eligible Dependent means i) the spouse, as determined under applicable state law at the time and location that the marriage was entered into, ii) a Child of an Eligible Employee who satisfies the requirements of the definition of “Child” in Number 3 of this section of this booklet, and iii) any such spouse or Child who timely elects Continuation Coverage and for whom the appropriate premium is timely received by DDKS.
Eligible Dependent means a dependent of an Eligible Employee who is eligible to participate in the Group Plan pursuant to the criteria set forth in the Group Plan Agreement.
