Permitted landfill definition

Permitted landfill means a waste disposal facility in Arkansas which has received a permit from the Department, authorizing the receipt and disposal of certain waste materials under the provisions of the Arkansas Solid Waste Management Code.
Permitted landfill means the activities and the limits to those activities described in Table1.1.1 of this Permit.

  • Landfill means a disposal facility or part of a facility where hazardous waste is placed in or on land and which is not a pile, a land treatment facility, a surface impoundment, an underground injection well, a salt dome formation, a salt bed formation, an underground mine, a cave, or a corrective action management unit.

  • Permitted Facility means a facility authorized by the general permit to discharge total nitrogen or

  • Unimproved Land means land on which no development (other than improvements that are not material and are temporary in nature) has occurred.

A sanitary landfill also may receive other types of solid wastes, such as commercial solid waste, nonhazardous sludge, hazardous waste from conditionally exempt small quantity generators, construction demolition debris, and nonhazardous industrial solid waste.

  • Said Land shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Paragraph I above and which is more fully and particularly described in the First Schedule written hereunder and delineated and demarcated in Annexure – A hereto;

  • Transportation Facilities means any physical facility that moves or assist in the movement of people or goods including facilities identified in OAR 660-012-0020 but excluding electricity, sewage, and water systems.

  • Landfill cell means a discrete volume of a hazardous waste landfill which uses a liner to provide isolation of wastes from adjacent cells or wastes. Examples of landfill cells are trenches and pits.

  • Constructed wetlands means areas intentionally designed and created to emulate the water quality improvement function of wetlands for the primary purpose of removing pollutants from stormwater.

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Permitted Assets means any and all properties or assets that are used or useful in a Permitted Business (including Capital Stock in a Person that is a Restricted Subsidiary and Capital Stock in a Person whose primary business is a Permitted Business that shall become a Restricted Subsidiary immediately upon the acquisition of such Capital Stock by the Issuer or by a Restricted Subsidiary, but excluding any other securities).
