Participant Employer definition

Participant Employer means the Louisiana State University, the House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana, the Louisiana Senate, the Louisiana Legislative Auditors, the Louisiana Legislative Fiscal Office, and the Louisiana Legislative Budgetary Control Council. To the extent that a Successor Employer, as defined, is participating in the Plan, such an Employer shall be a Participant Employer with respect to Employees enrolled in the Plan.
Participant Employer means the participant who is receiving services and serving as the common law employer OR an individual, such as a representative, who serves as the employer in place of the participant.
Participant Employer means the Employer, and any other affiliated Company which adopts the Plan pursuant to Article IX.

Examples of Participant Employer in a sentence

  • An Employee who transfers employment to this Employer from another Participant Employer must complete a transfer form within thirty (30) days following the date of transfer in order to maintain coverage without interruption.

  • Participant Employer – A state entity, school board, or a state political subdivision authorized by law to participate in an Office of Group Benefits health plan.

  • Coverage will cease on the earliest to occur of the following dates:1) 90 days from the date You were no longer eligible for coverage as a Full-time Active Employee;2) the date You become eligible for similar benefits under another group plan;3) the last day of the period for which required premium is made;4) the date the group insurance policy terminates; or5) the date Your Employer ceases to be a Participant Employer, if applicable.

  • Documented – (with respect to a Dependent of an Employee/Retiree) – the following written proof of relationship to the Employee/Retiree has been presented for inspection and copying to Plan Administrator, or to a representative of the Employee’s/Retiree’s Participant Employer designated by the Plan Administrator: A.

  • The Participant Employer was the retiree’s last public employer;3.

  • Retiree ReinstatementRetirees of a Plan Participant Employer are eligible to re-instate coverage with this Plan in January of an even numbered year, as provided by NRS 287.0205, so long as:1.

  • An Employee retired from a Participant Employer may not be covered as an Employee.

Related to Participant Employer

  • Covered Employer means the City of Cambridge or a Beneficiary of Assistance.

  • relevant employer means any company incorporated or registered under the Companies Act (Cap. 50) or any person registered under the Business Names Registration Act 2014;

  • Key Employee means any executive-level employee (including, division director and vice president-level positions) as well as any employee who, either alone or in concert with others, develops, invents, programs, or designs any Company Intellectual Property (as defined in the Purchase Agreement).
