Operator Services definition

Operator Services provides for:

Operator Services means any inter- state telecommunications service initi- ated from an aggregator location that includes, as a component, any auto- matic or live assistance to a consumer to arrange for billing or completion, or both, of an interstate telephone call through a method other than:

• CLEC will provide announcement phrase information, via Operator Services Translations Questionnaire (OSTQ), to AT&T-21STATE in conformity with the format, length, and other requirements specified for all CLECs on the AT&T CLEC Online website.

• When the End User dials 0- or 0+ the telephone number, AT&T-21STATE shall provide the Operator Services described in Section 3.4 below.

• Where EAOSS is not available, Modified Operator Services Signaling (MOSS) will be utilized, and a segregated one-way trunk group with MF signaling will be established from CLEC to each AT&T- 21STATE OS/DA switch for each served Numbering Plan Area (NPA) in the LATA.

Operator Services means any telecommunications ser- vice provided to a call aggregator location that includes auto- mated or live assistance to consumers in billing or complet- ing (or both) telephone calls, other than those billed to the number from which the call originated or those completed through an access code used to bill a consumer's account pre- viously established with the company.

Operator Services includes, but is not limited to, (1) operator handling for call completion (e.g., collect calls); (2) operator or automated assistance for billing after the subscriber has dialed the called number (e.g., credit card calls); and (3) special services (e.g., BLV/BLI, emergency agency call).

Operator Services means any intrastate operator-assisted services, other than IOS, in which the end user has a customer relationship with the provider, the provider contracts with the customer/end user to provide the services, and the customer/end user pays for the actual processing of the operator-assisted calls.

Operator Services shall have the meaning set forth in 47 U.S.C. § 226(a)(7). “POLE” refers to ACS poles and anchors and does not include poles or anchors with respect to which ACS has no legal authority to permit attachments by other persons or entities.
