NYS Power System definition

NYS Power System. All facilities of the NYS Transmission System, and all those Generators located within the NYCA or outside the NYCA, some of which may from time-to-time be subject to operational control by the ISO. New York State Reliability Council (“NYSRC”): An organization established by agreement among the Member Systems of the New York Power Pool (the “NYSRC Agreement”).
NYS Power System means all facilities of the NYS Transmission System, and all those Generators located within the NYCA or outside the NYCA, some of which may be from time-to-time subject to operational control by the ISO.

  • The ISO, in cooperation with the Transmission Owner with whose system the Eligible Customer proposes to interconnect, shall perform technical studies to determine whether the proposed interconnection may degrade system reliability or adversely affect the operation of the NYS Power System.

  • Any Eligible Customer proposing to interconnect its Load or Large Facility with the NYS Power System shall submit its interconnection proposal to the ISO.

  • Pursuant to the requirements of applicable provisions of the ISO OATT, ISO Related Agreements and ISO Procedures, the ISO shall evaluate the impact of any proposed material modification to the NYS Power System.

  • Services necessary to support the transmission of Energy from Generators to Loads, while maintaining reliable operation of the NYS Power System in accordance with Good Utility Practice and Reliability Rules.
