Notice of Recall definition

Notice of Recall. Notice of recall shall be sent electronically to the email address on record in the Human Resources office. Response to the notice of recall must be sent electronically by email to the Human Resources office within seven (7) calendar days, excluding legal holidays, after receipt of such notice. If the notice of recall cannot be delivered to the email on record, the employment of the employee may be terminated after seven (7) calendar days, excluding legal holidays, following the attempted delivery.
Notice of Recall shall be sent to the employee at his/her last known address by registered or certified mail. If an employee fails to report for work within ten (10) days from date of mailing of “Notice of Recall”, he/she shall be considered a “quit”.

Examples of Notice of Recall in a sentence

  • Notice of Recall from layoff shall be by Return Receipt – Registered Mail and shall specify the date for reporting to work which shall not be more than fourteen (14) working days from the date the notice is received.

  • They fail to report for duty within fifteen (15) calendar days of mailing of Notice of Recall to County employment.

  • Notice of Recall or available position may be made in person or by U.S. Mail, return receipt requested.

  • If an employee does not return to work within five calendar days from date of the verbal Notice of Recall (if the employee is contacted) or delivery of the Notice of Recall, then he or she will be deemed to have abandoned his or her employment.

  • If the Employer attempts but does not contact the employee by telephone, then the Employer will deliver a written Notice of Recall to the employee at the employee’s last known address.
