Non-Commercial Education and Research Purposes definition

Non-Commercial Education and Research Purposes means use of Patent Rights (including distribution of biological materials covered by the Patent Rights) in the Field for academic research or other not-for-profit scholarly purposes which are undertaken at a nonprofit or governmental institution that does not use the Patent Rights in the production or manufacture of products for sale or the performance of services for a fee.
Non-Commercial Education and Research Purposes means use of PATENT RIGHTS (including distribution of biological materials covered by the PATENT RIGHTS) for academic research or other not-for-profit scholarly purposes which are undertaken at a nonprofit or governmental institution that does not use the PATENT RIGHTS in the production or manufacture of products for sale or the performance of services for a fee.
