Member or Members definition

Member or Members means an organisation(s) signed up to adhere to this Code;
Member or Members means those persons or entities having a membership interest in the Company as approved from time to time pursuant to this Agreement.
Member or Members means the members of the Commission and shall include the Chairman of the Commission;

  • A resolution put to the vote of the meeting shall be decided on a show of hands unless before, or on the declaration of the result of, the show of hands, the chairman demands a poll, or any other Member or Members collectively present in person or by proxy (or in the case of a corporation or other non-natural person, by its duly authorised representative or proxy) and holding at least ten per cent.

  • In any other case it shall stand adjourned to the same day in the next week, at the same time and place, and if at the adjourned meeting a quorum is not present within half an hour from the time appointed for the meeting the Member or Members present and entitled to vote shall be a quorum.

  • If a distribution of specific assets to, or at the direction of, a particular Member or Members is illegal or, in the Directors’ opinion, impracticable the Directors may make a cash payment to the Member or Members on the basis of the cash amount of the dividend instead of the distribution of specific assets.

  • If a transfer or distribution of specific assets to a particular Member or Members is illegal or, in the Directors' opinion, impracticable, the Directors may make a cash payment to the Member or Members on the basis of the cash amount of the dividend instead of the transfer or distribution of specific assets.

Member or Members means respectively an individual MSTIC Member organization or the MSTIC Member organizations collectively that are signatories to the MSTIC Consortium Membership Agreement.

Member or Members in relation to a Company, means - (a) the subscribers to the memorandum of association of the Company who shall be deemed to have agreed to become members of the Company, and on its registration, shall be entered as member in its register of members, (b) every other person who agrees in writing to become a member of the Company and whose name is entered in the register of members of the Company; (c)every person holding shares in the Company and whose name is entered in register of beneficial owners as beneficial owner.
