Individual employment definition

Individual employment means employment in the general workforce where the member interacts with the general public to the same degree as nondisabled persons in the same job, and for which the member is paid at or above minimum wage, but not less than the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by persons without disabilities.

  • City Managerial Employee means the City Manager, the Assistant City Manager, the City Clerk, and any City department head or director.   • Eligible casual employee means a casual employee employed during a period of at least 12 months, either:

  • Part-time employment means any employment or combination of one or more employments in a civil division in which an individual works fifty percent (50%) or less of the time prescribed as the standard work week by the governing body or other appropriate authority of the civil division or where the employee earns not more than one-half (1/2) of the rate assigned to the position if the position has been allocated to a graded salary schedule.

  • Disability benefit recipient means a member who is receiving a disability benefit.
