Incidental Take Permit definition

Incidental Take Permit means a Permit issued under section 10(a)(1)(B) of the ESA to a non-federal party undertaking an otherwise lawful project that might result in the “take” of a threatened or endangered species. An application for an Incidental Take Permit is subject to certain requirements, including the preparation of a habitat conservation plan.
Incidental Take Permit or “ITP” means a permit authorizing Take of listed species incidental to otherwise lawful activities pursuant to section 10 of the FESA (16 U.S.C. 1539(a)(2)(B)).
Incidental Take Permit means the incidental take permit issued by the Service on July 25, 2007 based on the HCP/NCCP and any extension or subsequent version of this permit.

More Definitions of Incidental Take Permit

Incidental Take Permit. “ITP” or “Permit” means this section 10(a)(l)(B) incidental take permit, and any future amendments thereto, issued by the USFWS to NiSource pursuant to the MSHCP.
