Focused Acts definition

Focused Acts are misdemeanor type delinquent acts involving offenses against public order including affray, disrupting public school, disorderly conduct, obstruction of police (limited to acts of truancy where a student fails to obey an officer’s command to stop or not leave campus), and criminal trespass (not involving damage to property)

Examples of Focused Acts in a sentence

  • The Parties further acknowledge and agree that the guidelines contained herein are intended to establish uniformity in the handling of a Student who has committed one of the Focused Acts as defined herein while simultaneously ensuring that each case is addressed on a case by case basis to promote a response proportional to the various and differing factors affecting each Student’s case.

  • Citation/Arrests The parties agree that Focused Acts are considered school discipline issues to be handled by school officials and are not deemed criminal law issues warranting the filing of a juvenile petition or criminal citation unless the student has committed at least two (2) separate prior Focused Acts within the same school calendar year and each incident documented using the Warning Notice.

Related to Focused Acts

  • Agreed Acts means any of the following:-

  • Competitive Activity will not include (i) the mere ownership of securities in any such enterprise and the exercise of rights appurtenant thereto or (ii) participation in the management of any such enterprise other than in connection with the competitive operations of such enterprise.

  • Permitted Activities The primary activities of the trust created pursuant to this Agreement which shall be:

  • Restricted Activities means those activities described in Section 10 of this Agreement.

  • School-Sponsored Activity means any activity sponsored, recognized or authorized by the Board and includes activities conducted on or off school property.

  • Restricted Activity means directly or indirectly owning any interest in, managing, controlling, participating in, consulting with, rendering services for, or in any manner engaging in any business with any customer, supplier, competitor or other person having a business relation with the Company or any of its subsidiaries; provided however that the term "Restricted Activity" shall not include passive ownership of not more than 2% of the outstanding stock of any class of a corporation which is publicly traded, so long as Executive has no active participation in the business of that corporation.

  • Gross beta particle activity means the total radioactivity due to beta particle emission as inferred from measurements on a dry sample.
