Final Acceptance of the Work definition

Final Acceptance of the Work means when the entire Work, except those items arising from the warranty provisions of the Contract Documents, has been performed to the requirements of the Contract Documents and is so declared, in writing, by the Owner.
Final Acceptance of the Work means the completion of the project installation included in Attachment A and signoff by both the OWNER and CONTRACTOR on all punch list items.

Examples of Final Acceptance of the Work in a sentence

  • Contract CPM Schedule: A cost-loaded CPM schedule covering the entire Contract Duration from the Notice to Proceed through Final Acceptance of the Work.

  • Contractor’s duties and responsibility for safety and for protection of Work shall continue until such time as all the Work is completed and Final Acceptance of the Work.

  • Neither Final Acceptance of the Work nor making any payment shall release the Contractor from the Contractor’s obligations under this Article.

  • Release of the retainage will be processed in the ordinary course of business within sixty (60) days following Final Acceptance of the Work by the Port provided that no notice of lien has been given as provided in RCW 60.28, that no claims have been brought to the attention of the Port, that the Port has no claims under this Contract, and that release of retention has been duly authorized by the State.

  • If the Contractor temporarily is disqualified from bidding, the Contractor will not be reinstated until either the progress of the Work has improved to the extent that in the opinion of the Project Manager the Work can be completed on time or Final Acceptance of the Work has been issued by the Project Manager in accordance with the provisions of Section 108.09.

  • Contractor shall preserve Owner’s Information in its care, custody or control for a period of six (6) years following Final Acceptance of the Work or return such Information to Owner in a form acceptable to Owner.

  • At the conclusion of this inspection, items requiring correction or completion (“punch list” items) shall be minimal and require only a short period of time for accomplishment to establish Final Acceptance of the Work.

  • If the Work is accepted in segments such acceptance is provisional pending Final Acceptance of the Work as a whole.

  • The one-year warranty for punch list items that are not completed or corrected within the time period allowed in the Certificate of Substantial Completion, and other Work performed after Substantial Completion, shall begin on the date of Final Acceptance of the Work.

  • Contractor shall remedy any defects in the Work and pay for any damage resulting therefrom, which shall appear within one year, or longer if specified, from the date of Final Acceptance of the Work completed.

Related to Final Acceptance of the Work

  • Final Acceptance means final written acceptance of all the Work by the Commissioner, a copy of which shall be sent to the Contractor.

  • Final Acceptance Date means the date on which Final Acceptance occurs.

  • Operational Acceptance Tests means the tests specified in the Technical Requirements and Agreed Project Plan to be carried out to ascertain whether the System, or a specified Sub system, is able to attain the functional and performance requirements specified in the Technical Requirements and Agreed Project Plan, in accordance with the provisions of GCC Clause 27.2 (Operational Acceptance Test).

  • Operational Acceptance means the acceptance by the Procuring Entity of the Facilities (or any part of the Facilities where the Contract provides for acceptance of the Facilities in parts), which certifies the Contractor's fulfillment of the Contract in respect of Functional Guarantees of the Facilities (or the relevant part thereof) in accordance with the provisions of GCC Clause 28 (Functional Guarantees) hereof and shall include deemed acceptance in accordance with GCC Clause 25 (Commissioning and Operational Acceptance) hereof.

  • Final completion and acceptance means the stage in the progress of the work as determined by the Contracting Officer and confirmed in writing to the Contractor, at which all work required under the contract has been completed in a satisfactory manner, subject to the discovery of defects after final completion, and except for items specifically excluded in the notice of final acceptance.

  • Final Acceptance Certificate means the certificate that shall be issued by the Engineer to the Contractor upon the satisfactory completion of the contract by the Contractor.

  • Acceptance Tests means those tests performed during the Performance Period which are intended to determine compliance of Equipment and Software with the specifications and all other Attachments incorporated herein by reference and to determine the reliability of the Equipment.

  • Conditional Acceptance means a conditional acceptance by the Liquidity Provider of an extension of the Scheduled Termination Date.

  • Acceptance Testing mean the tests, reviews and other activities that are performed by or on behalf of Agency to determine whether the Deliverables meet the Acceptance Criteria or otherwise satisfy the Agency, as determined by the Agency in its sole discretion.

  • Acceptance Test is a test of the Features executed by the Customer to prepare the acceptance.

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Mechanical Completion means that (a) all components and systems of the Project have been properly constructed, installed and functionally tested according to EPC Contract requirements in a safe and prudent manner that does not void any equipment or system warranties or violate any permits, approvals or Laws; (b) the Project is ready for testing and commissioning, as applicable; (c) Seller has provided written acceptance to the EPC Contractor of mechanical completion as that term is specifically defined in the EPC Contract.

  • Project Deliverables means the Project deliverables set out in Schedule 2. Project Material means all the material including but not limited to documents, computer software, and data stored by any means which is created by the Fellow in the course of undertaking the Project.

  • Interconnection Feasibility Study means either a Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study or Transmission Interconnection Feasibility Study.

  • project completion period means the period of sixty (60) months commencing from and expiring on for the construction and obtaining of Temporary Occupation Permit or Permits for the whole of the Development as provided in clause 3.3;

  • Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study means a study conducted by the Transmission Provider (in coordination with the affected Transmission Owner(s)) in accordance with Tariff, Part IV, section 36.2.

  • Substantial Completion Date means the date on which Substantial Completion occurs.

  • Final Completion means the date determined and certified by A/E and Owner on which the Work is fully and satisfactorily complete in accordance with the Contract.

  • Interconnection Activation Date means the date that the construction of the joint facility Interconnection arrangement has been completed, trunk groups have been established, joint trunk testing is completed and trunks have been mutually accepted by the Parties.

  • Project Completion Date means the date on which the Completion Certificate is issued;

  • Project Completion means completion of the Redevelopment in accordance with this Agreement to the state where the whole of the Morley Shopping Centre, as so redeveloped, is capable of occupation for its intended purpose;

  • Project Milestone means the project milestone set forth in Schedule-J;

  • Subproject means a specific water and/or sanitation Subproject financed or to be financed by a Subproject Grant (as hereinafter defined) provided from the proceeds of the Credit under Part C.1 of the Project;

  • Scope of Work means the description of Services and Deliverables specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.
