Credited Investment Return definition

Credited Investment Return means the hypothetical gain or loss credited to a Participant’s Directed Investment Subaccounts pursuant to Article 5 hereof.

Examples of Credited Investment Return in a sentence

  • Such account shall be subject to adjustment from time to time to reflect the Credited Investment Return (Loss) determined under Article IV, any distributions made to Participant and any charges which may be imposed on such account pursuant to the terms of the Plan.

  • Any Credited Investment Return (Loss) with respect to the portion of the Participant’s Pre-2005 Deferred Account scheduled for an in-service installment distribution that is to be credited on and after the date of the initial in-service distribution shall be credited to the remaining portion of the Participant’s Pre-2005 Deferred Account.

  • The Deemed Investment Options shall be for the sole purpose of determining the Credited Investment Return (Loss), and neither the Trustee nor the Company shall have any obligation to invest the Participant’s Deferral Amounts in the Deemed Investment Options or in any other investment.

  • The Credited Investment Return (Loss) is the amount which the balance credited to the Account or Subaccount would have earned if that balance had in fact been invested in the Deemed Investment Options in accordance with the Participant’s Investment Elections.

  • Each Account or Subaccount shall be subject to adjustment from time to time to reflect the Credited Investment Return (Loss) determined for that Account or Subaccount pursuant to Article IV, any distributions made to the Participant from that Account or Subaccount and any charges which may be imposed on such Account or Subaccount pursuant to the terms of the Plan.

  • In addition, the Company does not represent or guarantee positive Credited Investment Return and shall not be required to restore any negative Credited Investment Return.

  • When making a Deferral Election with respect to Base Salary or STI Awards, a Participant shall designate: (i) to which Directed Investment Subaccounts amounts deferred pursuant to that election, and Credited Investment Return and Dividend Equivalent Units attributable thereto, shall be allocated; and (ii) how those amounts shall be allocated among the designated Directed Investment Subaccounts.

  • The Company shall cause an Account to be kept in the name of each Participant and each Beneficiary of a deceased Participant which shall reflect the value of such Participant’s Benefits as adjusted from time to time to reflect Credited Investment Return (Loss).

  • Each Participant may select among the Deemed Investment Options and specify the manner in which his or her Accounts and Subaccounts shall be deemed to be invested (the “Investment Election”) for purposes of determining the Credited Investment Return (Loss) on those Accounts and Subaccounts.

  • Each of the Participant’s Accounts and Subaccounts shall be credited at least monthly with the Credited Investment Return (Loss) attributable to the balance credited to that Account or Subaccount.

Related to Credited Investment Return

  • Investment Return means the investment return payable in respect of the Bond in accordance with Clause 5 Returns.

  • Adjusted Invested Amount means, with respect to any date of determination, an amount equal to the Invested Amount less the Principal Funding Account Balance on such date of determination.

  • U.S. Accredited Investor means an “accredited investor” as defined in Rule 501(a) of Regulation D;

  • Class B Adjusted Invested Amount means, with respect to any date of determination, an amount equal to the Class B Invested Amount less the positive difference, if any, between the Principal Funding Account Balance and the Class A Invested Amount on such date.

  • Credited Interest means interest on Member contributions to the Plan compounded annually from the end of the Plan Year in which contributions were made to the first day of the calendar month in which a determination thereof is to be made. Provided however, that such compounding shall commence from May 1st, 1972 for determinations being made in respect to contributions made prior to that date. The rate of interest used in compounding Credited Interest in any Plan Year shall be the average of the rate in effect on the first day of each month during the previous Plan Year for non-checking savings accounts administered by the Bank with which the Company transacts the majority of its banking business. Effective January 1, 1988, Credited Interest in respect to a Member's required contributions to the Plan shall be calculated on the basis of the yields of five-year personal fixed term chartered bank deposit rates, as determined from CANSIM B14045, published monthly in the Bank of Canada Review, averaged over a reasonably recent period, such averaging period not to exceed twelve (12) months. Interest shall be credited at the end of each Plan Year. The method of crediting interest for each Plan Year shall be as follows:

  • Quoted Investment means any Investment which is quoted or listed or in respect of which permission to deal is effective on any Recognised Stock Exchange.

  • Reinvestment Deferred Amount means, with respect to any Reinvestment Event, the aggregate Net Cash Proceeds received by the Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries in connection therewith that are not applied to prepay the Loans pursuant to Section 2.09(b) as a result of the delivery of a Reinvestment Notice.

  • Class A Adjusted Invested Amount means, with respect to any date of determination, an amount equal to the Class A Invested Amount less the Principal Funding Account Balance (but not in excess of the Class A Invested Amount) on such date.

  • Investment Account As defined in Section 3.12(a).

  • Prohibited Investment means Property (other than prescribed excluded Property as that term is defined in the Tax Act) that is:

  • Quoted Investments has the meaning set forth in Section 5.12(b)(ii)(A).

  • Investment Funds means all monies and financial resources available for investment by the Authority, other than proceeds of bonds issued by the Authority.

  • Highest Required Investment Category (i) With respect to ratings assigned by Moody’s, “Aa2” or “P-1” for one month instruments, “Aa2” and “P-1” for three month instruments, “Aa3” and “P-1” for six month instruments and “Aa2” and “P-1” for instruments with a term in excess of six months, (ii) with respect to rating assigned by S&P, “A-1” for short-term instruments and “A” for long-term instruments, and (iii) with respect to rating assigned by Fitch (if such investment is rated by Fitch), “F-1+” for short-term instruments and “AAA” for long-term instruments.

  • Regulated investment company has the meaning set forth in Section 851 of the Code.

  • Class PO Deferred Amount As to any Distribution Date, the aggregate of the applicable PO Percentage of each Realized Loss, other than any Excess Loss, to be allocated to the Class PO Certificates on such Distribution Date on or prior to the Senior Credit Support Depletion Date or previously allocated to the Class PO Certificates and not yet paid to the Holders of the Class PO Certificates.

  • Investment Date means the date of the Investment Commitment Closing.

  • Catch-Up Contributions means Salary Reduction Contributions made to the Plan that are in excess of an otherwise applicable Plan limit and that are made by Participants who are Age 50 or over by the end of their taxable years. An “otherwise applicable Plan limit” is a limit in the Plan that applies to Salary Reduction Contributions without regard to Catch-up Contributions, such as the limits on Annual Additions, the dollar limitation on Salary Reduction Contributions under Code Section 402(g) (not counting Catch-up Contributions) and the limit imposed by the Actual Deferral Percentage (ADP) test under Code Section 401(k)(3). Catch-up Contributions for a Participant for a taxable year may not exceed the dollar limit on Catch-up Contributions under Code Section 414(v)(2)(B)(i) for the taxable year. The dollar limit on Catch-up Contributions under Code Section 414(v)(2)(B)(i) is $1,000 for taxable years beginning in 2002, increasing by $1,000 for each year thereafter up to $5,000 for taxable years beginning in 2006 and later years. After 2006, the $5,000 limit will be adjusted by the Secretary of the Treasury for cost-of-living increases under Code Section 414(v)(2)(C). Any such adjustments will be in multiples of $500.

  • Qualified investment has the meaning set forth in Section 313.021(1) of the TEXAS TAX CODE, as interpreted by the Comptroller’s Rules.

  • Qualified Matching Contributions means Matching Contributions which are immediately nonforfeitable when made, and which would be nonforfeitable, regardless of the age or service of the Employee or whether the Employee is employed on a certain date, and which may not be distributed, except upon one of the events described under Section 401(k)(2)(B) of the Code and the regulations thereunder.

  • Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company.
