Credit Repair definition

Credit Repair shall bear the meaning set out in Notice 169 published in terms of the Consumer Affairs Act, 71 of 1988 (published in Government Gazette No. 18646);
Credit Repair means the activities of a credit repairer; (“redressement de crédit”)
Credit Repair means services or goods that are intended to improve a consumer report, credit information, file or personal information, including a credit record, credit history or credit rating; (“redressement de crédit”)

Credit Repair means any service that is sold, provided or performed (or promoted with representations that it is sold, provided or performed) for the express or implied purpose of: (i) improving any consumer’s credit record, credit history, or credit rating; or (ii) providing advice or assistance to any consumer with regard to any activity or service that purports to improve any consumer’s credit record, credit history, or credit rating.
