Class Year Deferrals definition

Class Year Deferrals means, for each Plan Year beginning on or after January 1, 2006, the deferrals under Paragraph 5(b) below of a Participant’s base salary for the Plan Year plus the deferral of any portion of the Participant’s Annual Bonus earned for services rendered during the fiscal year of the Corporation ending during such Plan Year, including any related adjustments for deemed investments in accordance with Paragraph 5(d) below.
Class Year Deferrals means, for each Plan Year, the deferrals under Paragraph 5(b) below of a Participant’s base salary for the Plan Year plus the deferral of any portion of the Participant’s Annual Bonus earned for services rendered during the fiscal year of the Participating Employers ending during such Plan Year, including any related adjustments for deemed investments in accordance with Paragraph 5(g) below and net of any amounts transferred to the 401(k) Plan pursuant to a Wrap Election under Paragraph 5(b) below. In addition, all amounts credited to a Participant’s Employer Account, including any related adjustments for deemed investments in accordance with Paragraph 5(g) below, shall collectively constitute one separate set of Class Year Deferrals for the Participant.
Class Year Deferrals means the deferrals under Paragraph 5(b) of a Participant’s base salary for the Plan Year plus the deferral of any portion of the Participant’s Annual Incentive Award earned for services rendered during the Plan Year, including any related adjustments for deemed investments in accordance with Paragraph 5(e) below. Deferrals of base salary and Annual Incentive Awards for a Plan Year may be established by the Plan Administrator as separate Class Year Deferrals at the time deferral elections are made.

Examples of Class Year Deferrals in a sentence

  • Any such portion of the Completion Incentive deferred under the Restoration Plan with respect to a Plan Year shall be part of the Class Year Deferrals for that Plan Year.

  • The amount of each installment payment shall equal the balance of the Class Year Deferrals as of the last business day immediately preceding the applicable payment date divided by the number of remaining installments (including the installment then payable).

  • For any Class Year Deferrals payable as annual installments commencing in a specified year elected by a Participant, the first annual installment shall be payable during the first ninety (90) days of the applicable Plan Year of commencement elected by the Participant.

  • The amount of each installment payment shall equal the balance of the Class Year Deferrals as of last business day immediately preceding the applicable payment date divided by the number of remaining installments (including the installment then payable).

  • The balance of the applicable Class Year Deferrals shall be payable commencing in the calendar year elected by the Participant, not to exceed the calendar year in which the Participant attains age 75, in annual installment payments over a period of years selected by the Participant not to exceed ten (10).

  • A Participant shall select from among the following forms of payment for each set of Class Year Deferrals.

  • The balance of the applicable Class Year Deferrals shall be payable in the calendar year elected by the Participant, not to exceed the calendar year in which the Participant attains age 75, in a single cash payment.

  • Notwithstanding any provision of the Restoration Plan to the contrary, except for a withdrawal on account of an unforeseeable emergency pursuant to Section 2.8(h), such Class Year Deferrals shall not be payable until the Participant has Terminated Employment.

  • In addition, in accordance with Section 2.8(a)(iii), all make-up contributions credited to the Restoration Plan for a Participant under Section 2.4(d), including any related adjustments for deemed investments in accordance with Section 2.5, shall collectively constitute one separate set of Class Year Deferrals for the Participant.

  • A Participant may change the time or form of payment elected under Section 2.8(b), or the time or form of payment subsequently elected under this Section 2.8(c), with respect to a set of Class Year Deferrals only if (i) such election is made at least 12 months prior to January 1 of the Plan Year in which the payment of the Class Year Deferrals would have otherwise commenced and (ii) the effect of such election is to defer commencement of such payments by at least 5 years.

Related to Class Year Deferrals

  • Elective Deferral Account means the account established hereunder to which Elective Deferrals (including a separate accounting for Catch-Up Contributions) are allocated. Amounts in the Participant's Elective Deferral Account are nonforfeitable when made and are subject to the distribution restrictions of Section 12.2(e). The Elective Deferral Account may consist of the

  • Deferral Contributions are Salary Reduction Contributions and Cash or Deferred Contributions the Employer contributes to the Trust on behalf of an Eligible Employee, irrespective of whether, in the case of Cash or Deferred Contributions, the contribution is at the election of the Employee. For Salary Reduction Contributions, the terms "deferral contributions" and "elective deferrals" have the same meaning.

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.

  • Compensation Deferral means the amount or amounts of the Director's Compensation deferred under the provisions of Section 3 of this Agreement.

  • Bonus Deferral means the amount of a Participant’s Bonus Compensation which the Participant elects to have withheld on a pre-tax basis from his Bonus Compensation and credited to his account pursuant to Section 4.1.

  • Deferral Contribution means any contribution made to the Plan by the Employer in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.03.

  • Excess Elective Deferrals means the amount of Elective Deferrals (as defined below) for a calendar year that the Participant designates to the Plan pursuant to the following procedure. The Participant’s designation: shall be submitted to the Administrator in writing no later than March 1; shall specify the Participant’s Excess Elective Deferrals for the preceding calendar year; and shall be accompanied by the Participant’s written statement that if the Excess Elective Deferrals is not distributed, it will, when added to amounts deferred under other plans or arrangements described in Section 401(k), 408(k) or 403(b) of the Code, exceed the limit imposed on the Participant by Section 402(g) of the Code for the year in which the deferral occurred. Excess Elective Deferrals shall mean those Elective Deferrals that are includible in a Participant's gross income under Section 402(g) of the Code to the extent such Participant's Elective Deferrals for a taxable year exceed the dollar limitation under such Code section.

  • Participant’s Account means an account maintained for each Participant’s participation in DSUs and/or RSUs under the Plan;

  • Deferrals means the amount of the Director’s Compensation that the Director elects to defer according to this Agreement.

  • Annual Deferral Amount means that portion of a Participant's Base Annual Salary and Annual Bonus that a Participant elects to have, and is deferred, in accordance with Article 3, for any one Plan Year. In the event of a Participant's Retirement, Disability (if deferrals cease in accordance with Section 8.1), death or a Termination of Employment prior to the end of a Plan Year, such year's Annual Deferral Amount shall be the actual amount withheld prior to such event.

  • Employer Matching Contributions means the Employer matching contributions made to the Trust Fund pursuant to Article V (Employer Matching Contributions).

  • Plan Year means the calendar year.

  • Deferred Account means the participant's Deferred Pension Account, Deferred Dividends Account, Deferred Retainer Account, Deferred Fees Account, Deferred Cash Account and/or Deferred Stock Account.

  • Elective Deferrals are all Salary Reduction Contributions and that portion of any Cash or Deferred Contribution which the Employer contributes to the Trust at the election of an Eligible Employee. Any portion of a Cash or Deferred Contribution contributed to the Trust because of the Employee's failure to make a cash election is an elective deferral. However, any portion of a Cash or Deferred Contribution over which the Employee does not have a cash election is not an elective deferral. Elective deferrals do not include amounts which have become currently available to the Employee prior to the election nor amounts designated as nondeductible contributions at the time of deferral or contribution.

  • Plan Year(s means the approximate twelve-month periods between annual meetings of the shareholders of the Company, which, for purposes of the Plan, are the periods for which annual retainers are earned.

  • Deferral Year means each calendar year during which the Trustee makes, or is entitled to make, Compensation Deferrals under Section 3 hereof.

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • Class Year Study means a Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study as that term is defined in OATT Section 25 (OATT Attachment S).

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

  • Qualified Matching Contributions means Matching Contributions which are immediately nonforfeitable when made, and which would be nonforfeitable, regardless of the age or service of the Employee or whether the Employee is employed on a certain date, and which may not be distributed, except upon one of the events described under Section 401(k)(2)(B) of the Code and the regulations thereunder.

  • Deferral Election means the Participant’s election under Section 3.1 to defer all or a portion of his or her Compensation.

  • Elective Deferral means the portion of Compensation which is deferred by a Participant under Section 4.1.

  • Company Matching Contributions means any contributions made to the Company Matching Account of a Participant by a Participating Employer as provided for in Section 4.02.

  • Employer Contributions means all amounts paid into ASRS by an

  • Grandfathered Amounts means, if applicable, the amounts that were deferred under the Plan and were earned and vested within the meaning of Section 409A of the Code and regulations thereunder as of December 31, 2004. Grandfathered Amounts shall be subject to the terms designated in the Adoption Agreement.
