Cargo Containers definition

Cargo Containers means standardized reusable vessels that were (a) originally, specifically or formerly designed for or used in the packing, shipping, movement or transportation of freight, articles, goods or commodities and/or (b) designed for or capable of being mounted or moved by rail, truck or ship by means of being mounted on a chassis or similar transport device. This definition includes the terms “transport containers” and “portable site storage containershaving a similar appearance to and characteristics of cargo containers.
Cargo Containers means all containers, whether empty or full.
Cargo Containers means (i) over-the-road trailers designed to be readily tethered to and untethered from, and propelled by, truck tractors, including dry van trailers, refrigerated trailers, chassis and flatbeds, (ii) railroad cars designed to be readily tethered to and untethered from, and propelled by, locomotives, including tank, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and refrigerated railcars, and (iii) intermodal containers designed to be loaded on such over-the-road trailers and/or railroad cars. For greater certainty, “Cargo Containers” do not include trucks (including truck tractors), locomotives, any type of vehicle of any kind not described in clauses (i), (ii) or (iii) in the immediately preceding sentence, or any cargo of any kind whether inside, on or tethered or affixed to any Cargo Container or otherwise.

Examples of Cargo Containers in a sentence

  • Cargo Containers that measure 100 feet wide and are double stacked must be used as a sound barrier to mitigate any noise originating from the OC Night Market stage located in Parking Lot G.

  • The “MAG Shortfall” is the amount by which the number of Cargo Containers handled on the Premises in the applicable Lease Year is less than the applicable MAG.

  • The Cargo Containers installed by Landlord for storage use by Tenant on the east side of the playground, shall remain the property of Landlord.

  • The Shipmove Rates for Cargo Containers and all other Tariff charges, plus applicable Florida sales tax, shall be invoiced by County to Lessee on a per-vessel basis, and shall be paid by Lessee to County within thirty (30) days after the date of each invoice.

  • All Cargo Containers, including, but not limited to, all Cargo Containers designated as Existing Cargo, count towards the MAG.


More Definitions of Cargo Containers

Cargo Containers means all containers, whether empty or full. “Existing Cargo” is a designation used to identify all Cargo Containers handled by Terminal Operator on the Final Premises for a Current Customer (hereinafter defined). “Current Customer” means a shipping line that was serviced by a marine terminal operator at Port Everglades other than Terminal Operator at any point within the immediately preceding twelve months. Once handled by Terminal Operator, the designation of such Cargo Containers as Existing Cargo will remain unless and until Terminal Operator handles such
