B.S. definition

B.S. means the “British Standard” as issued by the British Standards institution. “A.S.” means the American Standards as issued by the American Standard Institutions and “I.S.” means the “Indian Standards” as issued by the Indian Standards Institutions. Wherever the above-mentioned abbreviations are preferred to, in the specifications and / or work orders, they mean the addition with all amendments current at the date of issue of tender documents of work orders.
