Academic Terms definition

Academic Terms. The three academic terms are as follows:
Academic Terms means that portion of the school year, July 1 to the following June 30, when school is in session.

Examples of Academic Terms in a sentence

  • Academic Terms may have multiple individual Academic Sessions within them for courses of different durations.

  • A list including Appointments in the previous Spring/Summer Academic Terms will be provided no later than August 30.

  • A list including Appointments in the previous Fall/Winter Academic Terms will be provided no later than April 30.

  • The following additional definitions apply to these Academic Terms.

  • The grievance clock shall stop between the Academic Terms when classes are not in session.

  • All other terms and conditions contained in these Academic Terms remain applicable.

  • The term of sabbatical leave shall be either one Academic Term at full pay or two Academic Terms at half pay.

  • Within one (1) academic year, the UM will send a maximum of   Students to   for a period of study equivalent to   Regular Academic Terms.

  • Each Employee who receives a salary increase under the paragraph on Counteroffer above shall agree to serve at the University for at least four Academic Terms subsequent to the end of the Academic Term in which the increase is received and shall give a judgment note to the University for the amount of the increase, said judgment note to be canceled at the end of the required period of service or at the death or permanent disability of the Employee.

  • The American Wine School offers the six (6) units of the WSET® Level 4 Diploma in Wines program in 3 Academic Terms as follows: The initial registration for First Term include the mandatory WSET registration fee.

Related to Academic Terms

  • Academic term means a division of the school year during which a course of studies is offered, and includes a semester, quarter, or single consolidated summer term as defined by the institution.

  • Specific Terms The terms and conditions as set out in clause 34 onwards which apply in respect of the specific Equipment hired by the Customer.

  • Commercial Terms means this Agreement excluding the Purchase Order;

  • Specific Terms and Conditions means the specific terms and conditions as described in section 6.1 (and, in relation to an Agreement between Envestra and a Network User, means the Specific Terms and Conditions which form part of that Agreement).

  • Third Party Terms means, if any, the end user license agreement(s) or similar terms for the Third Party Products or other parties’ products or services, as applicable, and attached or indicated at Exhibit D.
