Public area definition

Public area means any portion of a state or municipal building that is open to and accessible by the public or which is otherwise designated as a public area by the governing body or the chief administrative officer, if no governing body exists, of such building.

Public area means an outdoor area that is generally open to the public during the College’s regular hours of operation and accessible by a public road or walkway without the need to enter or pass through a building or enclosed space. Public Areas do not include the interiors of College buildings or enclosed outdoor spaces, such as building atriums or athletic fields.
