Xxxxxx and Kinship Carers Leave. This is a new clause which provides for carer placement leave of up to 10 days paid and 10 days unpaid leave on commencing the placement of a child/children with the employee currently provided for in Determination Number7 of 2020. This clause also provides for carer assessment and training leave of up to 5 days paid leave for an authorised xxxxxx carer or kinship carer or undertaking assessment and training to become an authorised xxxxxx carer or kinship carer.

  • Xxxxx’s leave (1) An employee is entitled to use up to 10 days accrued personal leave each year to care for a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household who is ill and requires his or her care. The employee is not entitled to take xxxxx’s leave for a particular period if another person has taken leave to care for the person for the same period.

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.

  • Xxxxxxxxxxx Leave Classified personnel may be granted two (2) days of Xxxxxxxxxxx Leave with pay in the event of the death of the employee’s spouse, parent, step parent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, child, step child, legally adopted child, biological/adoptive parent of child, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, or grandchild.   • Synopsis and Benefit to Xxxxxxx County Xxxxxxx County has been working with the State of Oregon for several years to provide correctional services for the supervision of Senate Bill 1145 cases. Xxxxxxx County is assigned responsibility for all offenders on probation, parole, post-prison supervision, and those offenders sentenced or revoked for periods of one year or less, and on conditional release to the County. The State reimburses the County for expenses associated with housing and supervision of these offenders through Community Corrections Act Funding.

  • Industrial Accident or Illness Leave 7.6.1 All unit members shall receive sixty (60) days’ leave with pay in any one fiscal year for an industrial accident or illness. An industrial accident or illness is defined as one where the unit member becomes ill or is injured while he/she is serving the District, and, the accident or illness is reported to the District’s Self-Insurance Program in accordance with District regulations, and, the District Self-Insurance Program accepts responsibility for the treatment of the unit member.

  • Child Rearing Leave 7.9.1 A permanent employee, who is the natural or adoptive parent of a child, shall be entitled to an unpaid leave of absence for the purpose of rearing his/her child for a specified period immediately after convalescence from maternity or immediately after completion of appropriate adoption papers. Such leave shall be for a maximum period of nine (9) months and shall be granted upon giving the District at least four (4) weeks notice prior to the anticipated date on which the leave is to commence.
