Common use of Workers’ Compensation Pay Supplement Clause in Contracts

Workers’ Compensation Pay Supplement. An employee prevented from performing their regular work with the Board on account of an occupational accident that is recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board as compensable within the meaning of the Act, shall upon request receive from the Board the difference between the amount payable by the Workers' Compensation Board and their regular salary. Such difference shall be deducted from the employee's accumulated sick leave, provided the employee has such benefits to their credit. Should the employee have no sick leave to their credit, then the employee shall be entitled only to the amount paid by the Workers' Compensation Board.

Such difference shall be deducted from the employee's accumulated sick leave, provided the employee has such benefits to their her credit. Should the employee have no sick leave to their her credit, then the employee she shall be entitled only to the amount paid by the Workers' Compensation Board.
