VARIATION/ DEVIATION. The Authorized Officer of the Bank with the specific approval of the Bank shall have power to make alteration in, omissions from, additions to or substitutions for the original specifications, designs and instructions that may appear to him to be necessary or advisable during the progress of the work, and the tenderer shall be bound to carry out the works in accordance with any instructions given to him in writing signed by the Authorized Officer. Such alterations, omissions, additions or substitution shall form part of the contract as if originally provided therein and any altered, additional or substituted work which the tenderer may be directed to do in the manner specified above as part of the works, shall be carried out by the tenderer on the same conditions in all respects including price on which he agreed to do the main work except as hereafter provided

VARIATION/ DEVIATION. The price of all such additional items/non-tendered items will be worked out on the basis of rates quoted for similar items in the contract wherever existing or on engineering rate analysis based on prevalent fair price of labour, material and other components as required. The tender rates shall hold good for any increase or decrease in the tendered quantities.

  • Variation No variation of this Agreement shall be effective unless it is in writing and signed by the parties (or their authorised representatives).
