UNION MEMBERSHIP AND DUES. 2.1 The City recognizes the Union's right to encourage all employees in the bargaining unit to become and remain members in good standing of the Union, and the Union accepts its responsibility to fairly represent all employees in the bargaining unit regardless of membership status.
