Common use of UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS Clause in Contracts

UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS. If laid off employees apply for unemployment compensation benefits, the Employer will not contest the claim and will confirm that the employee was laid off. However, an employee on the recall list who declines or fails to respond within seven (7) consecutive working days of a formal written recall notice, may have their unemployment benefits adversely impacted.
