Unburdened Hourly Rates. The unburdened hourly rates (i.e., gross wages or salaries paid to personnel that perform the Services) shown in Appendix B shall be fixed until 24 months after the Effective Date, and may be adjusted thereafter only if the City chooses to exercise its option to extend the term of the Agreement. Any adjustment to the hourly rates in Appendix B shall be negotiated by the Parties, except that no adjustment shall exceed the corresponding annual increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for San Francisco-Oakland-San Xxxx, All Items, [1982-84=100] for All Urban Consumers. No hourly rate shall be adjusted without prior written approval of the SFMTA.
