Transportation and Transferring Sample Clauses

Transportation and Transferring. When men are transferred from job to job during their regular working hours, they shall receive pay for their time. When an employee is sent out of the jurisdiction of this contract by the Employer, he shall receive either the wage rate in that locality, or the rate provided in this Agreement, whichever is higher, plus all agreed expenses. He shall be paid the straight time hourly rate to and from the job when using the mode of transportation specified by the Employer. Should the employee choose a different mode of transportation than that specified he shall be paid only for the estimated time of travel as prescribed by the Employer. When an employee is required by the Employer to drive a service truck from the shop to the job before starting time, his time shall begin from the time he leaves the shop.
