Transfer and Seniority Outside Bargaining Unit. An Employee who is transferred with consent to a position outside the bargaining unit shall retain accumulated seniority for three (3) months from the date of leaving unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. If the Employee returns to the bargaining unit within three (3) months, shall be placed in a job consistent with classification. Such return shall not result in the lay-off or bumping of an Employee holding greater seniority or being placed on probation. of Status
