Common use of Time Off for Meetings Clause in Contracts

Time Off for Meetings. It is agreed that two (2) members of the Union Bargaining Committee who are in the employ of the Employer shall have the right to attend direct negotiating meetings held with representatives of the Employer. The two (2) members of the Bargaining Committee in the employ of the Employer shall suffer no loss of pay while attending negotiating meetings with the Employer. In no event shall such attendance result in overtime pay.

Time Off for Meetings. It is agreed that two (2) members of the Union Bargaining Committee who are in the employ of the Employer members shall have the right to attend direct negotiating meetings held with representatives of the Employerduring working hours without loss ofpay or benefits but shall be responsible for advising their supervisor in advance oftheir intended absence. The employer shall pay the total costs ofthree (3) members ofthe Union Bargaining Committee and will only xxxx the Union ifa replacement is needed for the other two (2) members of the Union Bargaining Committee in the employ of the Employer shall suffer no loss of pay while attending negotiating meetings with the Employer. In no event shall such attendance result in overtime paymembers.

The two (2) members of the Bargaining Committee in the employ of the Employer shall suffer no within working hours without loss of pay while attending negotiating meetings with the Employer. In no event shall such attendance result in overtime payremuneration.
