Summary of Proposals Sample Clauses

Summary of Proposals. 1.3 The exploratory drill site would be constructed in the corner of a field which was previously used for sand and gravel extraction and which now comprises agricultural grazing land. Entrance into the drill site location would be via an existing, sufficiently wide opening through the tree belt on the southern boundary of the field. The drill pad (approx. 40m x 30m in dimension) would be constructed using a combination of temporary access matting and crushed stone which would be laid directly on to the existing ground surface to provide a temporary all weather surface. It is stated that this preferred method of construction reduces the degree of disturbance caused by stripping, handling and storing soils and allows the site footprint to be kept to a minimum.
