Common use of Substance Abuse Counseling Clause in Contracts

Substance Abuse Counseling. Contractor shall provide programming in substance abuse that is evidence-based and designed to reduce recidivism. Such programming shall include alcohol and drug counseling in the form of education, prevention, and early intervention services. Intensive outpatient programming will be provided if determined necessary by a validated risk/needs assessment. In addition, Contractor shall coordinate with the assigned DPO, Orange County Health Care Agency, and other service providers to identify DRC Participants who are eligible for substance abuse and mental health treatment and related services and benefits.
