STUDENT PCG Clause Samples
The STUDENT PCG clause establishes the requirement for a Parent Company Guarantee (PCG) specifically related to student obligations or contracts. In practice, this means that if a student is party to an agreement, a parent or guardian (the 'parent company' in this context) must guarantee the student's performance or fulfillment of contractual duties. For example, if a student signs a lease or service agreement, the parent may be required to step in if the student defaults. This clause primarily functions to mitigate risk for the other party by ensuring there is a financially responsible guarantor backing the student's commitments.
STUDENT PCG. The GLP is a generic description of educational activities that a teacher can deploy in her/his class. So, the GLP is not accessible to a student, but only to a teacher. The teacher is responsible to deploy a GLP in a class, a Game Instance (GI) for each student is created providing either the same or a customized experience to the students. The BEACONING approach is that this GLP can be adapted to the student's profile in order to maximize her/his learning activities. This is done by:
1. Analysing the student's performance, through the analytics. The PCG component is able to adjust the difficulty level for each student;
2. Using the accessibility profile of each student, the PCG component will adapt the game to her/his needs. In order to deploy a game, the PCG component generates a game instance based on the GLP. Figure 10 describes the game instance data model.
