Common use of Strikes by Public Employees Clause in Contracts

Strikes by Public Employees. The Association recognizes that the Public Employment Relations Act makes strikes by public employees illegal when conditions are shown that an organized action has been implemented to provide pressure through a work stoppage for economic gain. MCL 423.201 et seq. To this extent, the Association recognizes its obligation to discourage a strike among its members.
