Strike and Lockout Prohibited. Neither the Association nor any officers, agents, or employees will instigate, promote, encourage, engage in or condone any strike, picketing, slowdown, concerted work stoppage, or any other intentional interruption of work during the term of this Agreement. The City shall not authorize a lockout of the officers during the term of this Agreement.

Strike and Lockout Prohibited. Neither the Union nor any of its officers, agents or county employees will instigate, promote, encourage, sponsor, engage in, or condone any strike, slowdown, concerted work stoppage, sympathy strike, or any other intentional interruption of work during the term of this agreement. The Employer shall not lock out any employees in the bargaining, unit during the term of this agreement.

  • STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS The Union agrees during the term of this Agreement there will be no slowdown or strike, stoppage of work or refusal to work or to continue to work. The Employer agrees that during the term of this Agreement there will be no lockout.

  • STRIKE PROHIBITION The Association recognizes that strikes, as defined by Section 1 of Public Act 336 of 1947 of Michigan, as amended, are contrary to law and public policy. The Board and the Association subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by appropriate and peaceful means in keeping with the high standards of education without interruption of the school program. Accord- ingly, the Association agrees that during their term of this Agreement, it will not direct, instigate, participate in, encourage or support any strike against the Board by any member or group of members which is contrary to law.
