State Imposed Fees. Some states may require an additional fee be paid directly to the state on purchases made by Purchasing Entities within that state. For all such requests, the fee rate or amount, payment method and schedule for such reports and payments will be incorporated into the applicable Participating Addendum. Unless agreed to in writing by the state, Contractor may not adjust the Master Agreement pricing to include the state fee for purchases made by Purchasing Entities within the jurisdiction of the state. No such agreement will affect the NASPO ValuePoint Administrative Fee percentage or the prices paid by Purchasing Entities outside the jurisdiction of the state requesting the additional fee.

For all such requests, the fee rate or amount, payment method, and schedule for such reports and payments will be incorporated into the applicable Participating Addendum. Unless otherwise negotiated by the Participating Entity, Contractor may adjust the Master Agreement pricing incorporated into the Participating Entity’s Participating Addendum by an amount not to exceed the Participating Entity’s fee. Such adjustments will have no effect on the NASPO ValuePoint administrative fee, pricing in the Master Agreement, or pricing offered to Purchasing Entities outside the jurisdiction of the Participating Entity.

  • FEDERAL AND STATE TAX The County is exempt from Federal and State Sales and Use Taxes for tangible personal property (Certificate of Registry for tax transactions under Chapter 32, Internal Revenue Code and Florida Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate). The Manager, Procurement Division will sign an exemption certificate submitted by the Contractor. Contractors doing business with the County shall not be exempted from paying sales tax to their suppliers for materials to fulfill contractual obligations with the County, nor shall any Contractor be authorized to use the County’s Tax Exemption Number in securing such materials.
