SICK LEAVE BANK PROCEDURAL GUIDELINES. The purpose of the Sick Leave Bank is to enable employers to provide protection in cases of long-term catastrophic illness and to encourage employees to “save” sick leave for a valuable future economic benefit (terminal leave.) Membership in the Sick Leave Bank must precede the diagnosis date for the current illness for which days are being applied.

SICK LEAVE BANK PROCEDURAL GUIDELINES. 1. Governance Operation and administration of this Sick Leave Bank will be by the Sick Leave Bank Board. This board will consist of five (5) voting members appointed by the Association and one (1) nonvoting member from the Office of Human Resources. A minimum of three (3) voting members must be present in order to conduct business.

  • Sick Leave Bank 22.1 The purpose of this Sick Leave Bank is to provide a bank of sick leave hours from which a member may draw in case of extended absences due to illness/disability which renders the member incapable of working.
