Sick Day Utilization. For each day that an employee is absent due to sickness, one day's pay shall be paid when available and deducted from the employee's accumulated sick pay credits. The first day of the third occasion, and the first day of each occasion of sickness thereafter within a calendar year, for which occasion no doctor's certificate is presented, will not be paid nor deducted from the employee's accumulated sick pay credits. Doctor, dentist or Workers Compensation appointments shall be paid and deducted from the employees accumulated sick pay credits but do not count as occasions unless they require an employee absence of two (2) hours or more. For a series of such appointments for previously arranged therapy, the employee must provide their supervisor with a certified list of appointments. Wherever possible, the employee shall try to arrange appointments at the beginning or end of their work day.

  • Sick Leave Utilization An employee shall be granted sick leave with pay to the extent of his/her accumulation for absences necessitated by the following conditions:

  • MWBE Utilization Plan A. In accordance with 5 NYCRR § 142.4, Bidders are required to submit a completed Utilization Plan on Form MWBE 100 with their bid.

  • Holiday During Vacation If a holiday, named under Article 7 of this Agreement, falls within the vacation period of an employee, he shall be granted an additional day's pay in lieu of the holiday.

  • Underutilization Underutilization of Interconnection Trunks and facilities exists when provisioned capacity of trunks in service for more than six (6) months is greater than the current need. This over-provisioning is an inefficient deployment and use of network resources and results in unnecessary costs. Those situations where more capacity exists than actual usage will be handled in the following manner:

  • Utilization Utilization shall be defined as Trunks Required as a percentage of Trunks In Service.

  • Utilization Scale STATE shall scale logs or portions of logs that are broken, wasted, or not removed by PURCHASER due to: (1) improper felling or bucking of the logs; (2) failure to remove the logs prior to deterioration; and (3) logs remaining on the timber sale area after completion of logging, provided the logs were merchantable prior to breakage or wastage. Material used to meet down material requirements in the section titled, "Reserved Timber," shall not be considered for utilization scale. PURCHASER shall pay for the logs at the contract price designated in Section 44. STATE shall notify PURCHASER of the volume of logs so scaled. Payment shall be considered due on such volume as if the logs were removed on the date of said notification. In the event PURCHASER disagrees with the findings made by STATE under this section, PURCHASER may furnish scaling by a third-party scaling organization acceptable to STATE. Costs and expenses of such third party shall be paid for by PURCHASER, and the findings of the third party shall be final.

  • Holiday Week In the event that a holiday is celebrated during the week (Monday through Friday), the remaining four days of the week may be worked as a four ten shift at the straight time rate on a voluntary basis with three (3) days’ notice to the Union. In the event the job is down due to weather conditions, then Saturday may, at the option of the Employer be worked as a voluntary make-up day at the straight time rate.

  • Service Availability You understand that Service availability is at all times conditioned upon the corresponding operation and availability of the communication systems used in communicating your instructions and requests to the Credit Union. We will not be liable or have any responsibility of any kind for any loss or damage thereby incurred by you in the event of any failure or interruption of such communication systems or services resulting from the act or omission of any third party, or from any other cause not reasonably within the control of the Credit Union.

  • Hourly Rate (A) The amounts shall be computed by multiplying the appropriate hourly rates prescribed in the contract by the number of direct labor hours performed. Fractional parts of an hour shall be payable on a prorated basis.

  • Mobilization Design-Builder shall mobilize, transport and assemble its equipment, materials, and supplies, as well as construct such temporary systems as are necessary and required at the Site, all in adequate time for satisfactory performance of the Work.
