Road Patrol. Employees within each of the three groups therein shall be assigned to their preferred shift and workstation, provided the employee has the greater classification seniority. Sergeants shall utilize rank seniority. The three groups therein are: Road Patrol Sergeants, Road Patrol Deputies, and Patrol Canine handlers (defined as having the ability to track persons AND in the detection of narcotics or explosives).

Road Patrol. Employees within each of the two groups therein shall be assigned to their preferred shift and workstation, provided the employee has the greater classification seniority. Sergeants shall utilize rank seniority. The two groups therein are: road patrol sergeants and road patrol deputies.
Road Patrol. The annual shift schedule will be the basis for assignment of shift. If a vacancy occurs in the titles of Deputy Sheriff or Sergeant Deputy Sheriff of an expected duration of at least five (5) consecutive working days and the vacancy reduces the shift coverage below three (3); or if a vacancy occurs and reduces the shift coverage below the required staffing the Sheriff or his designee may reassign an officer from another shift.

  • Surgery Services and Mastectomy Related Treatment This plan provides benefits for mastectomy surgery and mastectomy-related services in accordance with the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998 and Rhode Island General Law 27-20-29 et seq.
