SAFETY CONDITIONS 1.0 The responsibility for providing for safe working conditions that are in conformance with applicable law and which are within fiscal constraints shall be the District’s. Employees shall be responsible for complying with safety procedures and practices and for reporting any unsafe condition, facility, or equipment of which he/she is aware. The District shall be responsible for informing employees of necessary safety procedures and practices. There shall be no reprisal against an employee for reporting any real or potentially unsafe condition, facility, or equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS 10.01 The Union will co-operate with the Employer in maintaining good working conditions.
SUPERIOR CONDITIONS 21.01 All existing benefits, rights, privileges, practices, terms or conditions of employment which may be considered to be superior to those contained herein and which are set out in Appendix 4 are specifically retained by this Agreement unless otherwise agreed by the local parties. Weather Conditions In the event of temporary suspension of work or during inclement weather or whenever the OWNER shall direct, the CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will, and will cause its Subcontractors to protect carefully its and their work and material against damage or injury from the weather. If, in the opinion of the OWNER, any Work or material shall have been damaged or injured by reason of failure on the part of the CONSTRUCTION MANAGER or any of its Subcontractors so to protect his work, said materials shall be removed and replaced at the expense of the CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.
Safe Working Conditions The Employer undertakes to maintain office furniture, equipment, etc., in a practical and safe condition in order to avoid injury to employees or damage to their attire. Employees, for their part and in their own interest, are expected to advise the Employer of any such potentially injurious equipment.
