Requirements for Leave of Absence for Personal Business Without Pay. An employee shall, upon request, be granted leave of absence for personal business for absences which are not disability absences but are related to the preparation for childbirth and/or the care of a newborn or newly adopted child. Such leave of absence is subject to the regular provisions for leave of absence for personal business except that the instructional employee shall specify a leave of more than four (4) weeks to end at the change of a semester which falls within twenty-four (24) months of the date of the beginning of the leave.
