Common use of Reporting Expense Clause in Contracts

Reporting Expense. When qualified workers report for work as directed and for whom no work is provided, shall be paid Forty dollars ($40.00) reporting expense, unless prevented from working by causes not under the control of the Employer. It being understood that the above reimbursements are for the inconvenience of reporting to the job site and are not to be construed as wages for work performed and that workers entitled to reporting expense shall not be required to remain on the job site except as provided below.
