Stand-by. The status of an employee who has been specifically assigned by an appropriate supervisor to remain available for call-in at home or any location employer has been made aware of such that the employee can be contacted by telephone to report to work immediately upon notification from employer.

Stand-by. B4.01 When the Employer requires an employee to be available on stand-by during off-duty hours, an employee shall be compensated at the rate of one-half (½) hour for each four (4) hour period or portion thereof for which he or she has been designated as being on stand-by duty.
Stand-by. On rain sensitive work such as Dirt Work, Slab Work, Asphalt Work or in such cases as equipment breakdown, the Employer may request the employees to remain on the job for up to two (2) hours on a stand by basis. If not put to work during this two (2) hour period, the employee shall receive two (2) hours wages plus fringes but shall not receive the fifty dollars ($50.00) reporting expense. If put to work, employees shall receive pay for actual hours worked in accordance with the minimum pay requirement of this Article.
Stand-by. A. An employee who is ordered by the department head to be available on a stand-by basis to report to duty when necessary shall be reimbursed at a rate not to exceed twenty dollars ($25.00) for such stand-by period.
