RELIEVING IN HIGHER AND LOWER-RATED POSITIONS. 23.01 In cases where an employee is required, during a scheduled shift, to relieve in a higher rated job, the employee shall receive the hourly rate of the higher rated job for any and all hours worked after 2 hours. If the employee is required to relieve in a higher rated position for one or more full shifts, they shall receive the higher rate for any and all hours worked.
