Common use of Release Time for Training Clause in Contracts

Release Time for Training. The County shall provide the Association a maximum of eight (8) total hours per year of release time for Association designated officers to attend Association sponsored training programs. Requests for release time shall be provided in writing to the Department and County Human Resources Department at least fifteen (15) days in advance of the time requested. The Department Head will reasonably consider each request and notify the affected employee whether such request is approved, within one (1) week of receipt.
