AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). Contractor must comply with the ADA, which provides comprehensive civil rights protection to individuals with disabilities in the areas of employment, public accommodations, state and local government services, and telecommunications.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). A. This Agreement is subject to the provisions of Subtitle A of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. § 12131 et seq. (“ADA”) and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, see 28 CFR Part 35. The Contractor shall not discriminate against an individual with a disability, as defined in the ADA, in providing services, programs, or activities pursuant to this Agreement. If directed to do so by the Department to ensure the Contractor’s compliance with the ADA during the term of this Agreement, the Contractor shall prepare a plan (“Compliance Plan”) which lists its program site(s) and describes in detail, how it intends to make the services, programs and activities set forth in the scope of services herein readily accessible and usable by individuals with disabilities at such site(s). In the event that the program site is not readily accessible and usable by individuals with disabilities, contractor shall also include in the Compliance Plan, a description of reasonable alternative means and methods that result in making the services, programs or activities provided under this Agreement, readily accessible to and usable by individuals with disabilities, including but not limited to people with visual, auditory or mobility disabilities. The Contractor shall submit the Compliance Plan to the ACCO for review within ten (10) Days after being directed to do so and shall abide by the Compliance Plan and implement any action detailed in the Compliance Plan to make the services, programs, or activities accessible and usable by the disabled.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). Contractor warrants that it complies with California and federal disabilities laws and regulations. (Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990,42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq). Contractor hereby warrants the products or services it will provide under this Contract comply with the accessibility requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. 794d), and its implementing regulations set forth at Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1194. Contractor agrees to promptly respond to and resolve any complaint regarding accessibility of its products or services. Contractor further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless District from any claims arising out of Contractor’s failure to comply with the aforesaid requirements. Failure to comply with these requirements shall constitute a material breach of this Contract.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). The parties recognize the obligation of the City to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Before the City takes any steps, including reasonable accommodation, that may conflict with this Agreement, it will meet with the Union to discuss those steps that may be taken in that individual case. In those discussions the parties will respect the confidentiality of the disabled person as required by the Act.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). The City and the Union recognize that the City has an obligation under law to meet with individual employees who allege a need for reasonable accommodation in the workplace because of a disability. If by reason of the aforesaid requirement, the City contemplates actions to provide reasonable accommodation to an individual employee in compliance with ADA which are in potential conflict with any provision of this resolution, the Union will be advised of any such proposed accommodation and be afforded an opportunity to discuss same prior to implementation by the City.

All programs, activities, employment opportunities, and services must be made available to all persons, including persons with disabilities.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). The County and the Union recognize that the County has an obligation to reasonably accommodate disabled employees. If by reason of the aforesaid requirement, the County contemplates actions to provide reasonable accommodation to an individual employee in compliance with the ADA which are in conflict with any provision of this MOU, the Union will be advised of any such proposed accommodation. Upon request, the County will meet and confer with the Union on the impact of such accommodation. If the County and the Union do not reach agreement, the County may implement the accommodation if required by law without further negotiations. Nothing in this MOU shall preclude the County from taking actions necessary to comply with the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). If Tenant's use and/or personnel requirements change after the granting of initial use permit which would enact new ADA requirements, then Tenant shall at all times keep the premises in compliance with the ADA and its supporting regulations, and all similar federal, state or local laws, regulations and ordinances with respect to this new use. If Landlord's consent would be required for alterations to bring the premises into compliance, Landlord agrees not to unreasonably withhold its consent.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA). The LESSOR shall be responsible for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-336) and all amendments and requirements imposed by the regulations issued pursuant to that act, as mutually agreed upon between the LESSOR and LESSEE so as to adequately meet the LESSEE'S A.D.A. requirements.
