Reels. The Seller shall retain title to all reels on which a deposit is required. Deposits will be returned when reels are returned in good order to the Seller, at the Buyer‟s expense within one year from the date of shipment. Return freight will be allowed on shipments of returnable reels over 100 kilos.
Reels. Cables are to be furnished on steel reels, conforming to the following dimensions, which are governed by existing equipment used to handle and control the reels of cable. All tolerances are +/- ¼” unless otherwise stated below. Other alternate design submittals will be taken under consideration by the Cable Car Division. Overall Reel Width: 90” Flange: 108” (maximum runout +/- ¼”) Diameter of Barrel (drum) 48” Barrel Width: 78” Rim Width (tire): 6” Arbor Hole Size: 6” (+1/8”, -0”) diameter by 10” deep (min.) Size of Dog Pin Holes 3” (+1/8”, -0) diameter by 5-1/2” deep (min.) (adjacent to Arbor Holes) Distance from Center of 21” +/- 1/8” Arbor Hole to Center of Dog Pin Holes: Note: Dog Pin Hole plates must be 5/8” steel minimum, with 100% penetration welding. No plates, arbor holes, dog pin holes, etc. may extend more than ½” from the sides of the reel. A cable reel failure has the strong potential for badly injuring City employees. Reels supplied are the property of the Supplier. One (1) empty reel must be provided by the Supplier for rewinding used cable.
Reels. Pirelli shall deliver all Equipment on non-returnable wooden lagged reels. Purchaser and Pirelli agree to negotiate in good faith to migrate during the initial Term to the use of returnable steel reels for the delivery of Equipment in accordance with Pirelli's Returnable Steel Reel Policy, set forth on Schedule C, attached and incorporated herein.
Reels. When Graybar ships returnable reels, a reel deposit may be included in the invoice. The Buyer should contact the nearest Graybar service location to return reels.
