Recreation Leaders. Permanent Part-Time recreation leaders assigned to half-time or more positions will be scheduled for work in a manner that will ensure each unit member an opportunity to receive a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week on an annual basis.
Recreation Leaders. Two shirts upon hire, one additional shirt mid-summer and one jacket. Employees may purchase additional uniforms. • Teachers – Three shirts. • Bus Drivers – Five shirts, five pairs of pants or shorts and one jacket. • Heritage Park Rangers – Two dress shirts, two polo shirts, two pairs of pants, one jacket, one pair of boots and one belt. Uniforms issued by the City are considered as compensation and the value of such is reported to the Public Employees’ Retirement System annually as special compensation. Those items issued as safety equipment, even if worn as part of regular duty, are exempt from being reported as compensation. These items include steel toe safety shoes/boots, high visibility orange shirts, hard hats and high visibility orange work jackets. (PPPM 2- 9.1 and 2-9.2)
