Rain Water, Surface Water, and Backup. The Contractor shall protect all Work, including but not limited to excavations and trenches, from rain water, surface water, and back-up of drains and sewers. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, pumps, shoring, enclosures, and equipment necessary to protect and keep the Work free of water. Completed Work and stored products shall be suitably protected during inclement weather to allow Work to proceed in a timely fashion. Work planned, or in progress, should be performed to minimize impact of adverse weather conditions.

  • Potable Water Contractor shall provide potable water and ice for the Stage 2 Site use, and ensure that a safe and plentiful supply of potable water and ice is available for all activities on the Stage 2 Site until Substantial Completion of Subproject 3. The water and ice for human consumption shall be of suitable quality.

  • Clean Water 1. The Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq . The Contractor agrees to report each violation to the Purchaser and understands and agrees that the Purchaser will, in turn, report each violation as required to assure notification to FTA and the appropriate EPA Regional Office.

  • Meter and Cabling Be obliged to draw electricity lines/wires, television cables, broadband data cables and telephone cables to the said Apartment only through the ducts and pipes provided therefor, ensuring that no inconvenience is caused to the Promoter or to other apartment owners. The main electricity meter shall be installed only at the space designated for common meters. The Allottee shall under no circumstances be entitled to affix, draw or string wires, cables, dish antennae or pipes from, to or through any part or portion of and outside walls of the building in which the Apartment is located save in the manner indicated by the Promoter/Association (upon formation).

  • CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT Customer Purchase Orders using federal funds must contain a provision that requires the Contractor to agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387). Violations must be reported to the Federal awarding agency and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Pursuant to the Federal Rule above, Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387) and will remain in compliance during the term of the Contract.

  • Drinking Water Adequate arrangement shall be made for the supply of drinking water. If practicable filtered and chlorinated supplies shall be arranged when supplies are from intermittent sources overhead storage tank shall be provided with capacity of five liters a person per day. Where the supply is to be made from a well, it shall conform to the sanitary standard laid down in the report of the Rural Sanitation Committee. The well should be at least 30 meters away from any latrine or other source of population. If possible, hand pump should be installed for drinking water from well. The well should be effectively disinfected once every month and the quality of water should be got tested at the public Health Institution between each work of disinfecting.

  • Air and Water Subrecipient agrees to comply with the following regulations in so far as they apply to the performance of this Contract: Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C., 1857, et seq. Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 1251, et seq. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations pursuant to 00 XXX 00 xxx 00 XXX 00.

  • Groundwater The groundwater shall not be degraded as a result of the waste maintained at the facility.

  • Irrigation Systems The Project Area either has no irrigation system or a low-volume drip irrigation system. If a watering system is used, it is a drip irrigation system equipped with a filter, pressure regulator and emitters rated at twenty (20) gallons per hour (gph) or less. The system is maintained free of leaks and malfunctions. No spray irrigation is applied to the Project Area, including spray from irrigation systems adjacent to the Project Area.

  • Clean Air A. The Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 7401 et seq . The Contractor agrees to report each violation to the FCRTA and understands and agrees that the FCRTA will, in turn, report each violation as required to assure notification to FTA and the appropriate EPA Regional Office.

  • Water Provide hot water for lavatory purposes and cold water for drinking, lavatory and toilet purposes.
