Common use of Promoted Employee Clause in Contracts

Promoted Employee. The probationary period for a promoted employee shall be three (3) months; provided, at the option of the Employer, the probationary period may be extended, not to exceed three (3) additional months. Promoted employees may be deemed to have failed the probationary status at any time during or at the conclusion of the test period. In the event the employee fails probation in the promotional position, the employee shall be restored to his/her position or an equivalent position in the same wage grade.
