Project Decision Sample Clauses

Project Decision making Decision making for projects will use the RAPID framework, developed by Xxxx & Company (xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/publications/articles/RAPID-tool-to-clarify-decision-accountability.aspx), and as articulated in the table below. The RAPID acronym represents: ● Recommend (R) - Making a proposal on a key decision, gathering input, and providing data and analysis to make a sensible choice in a timely fashion. Consulting with input providers - hearing and incorporating their views, and winning their buy-in. ● Agree (A) - Negotiating a modified proposal with the recommender if they have concerns about the original proposal. Escalating unresolved issues to the decider if the “A” and “R” cannot resolve differences. In certain projects, the “A” might exercise veto power over the recommendation. ● Perform (P) - Executing a decision once it is made. Seeing that the decision is implemented properly and effectively. ● Input (I) - Providing relevant facts to the recommender that shed light on the proposal’s feasibility and practical implications.

Project Decision. This remedial action will remove impacted soils/fill (to the extent possible based on physical encumbrances and budgetary restraints) and evaluate remaining site conditions through closure samples. The closure samples will indicate the concentrations remaining on the site along with other existing concentrations. Based on the limits of the proposed excavation and the existing analytical data above the non-residential criteria outside of the excavation area, the following scenario will be in response to soil closure sample results:  Reported levels (maximum concentrations or representative concentrations) are above applicable residential standards but below non-residential standards, which will require some future limitations for the site such as a restriction to non- residential use only and a soil management plan to properly manage remaining impacts in the future. The Project Decision will be based on the soil excavation area and field screening observations to see if the excavated soil can be removed to meet the residential or non- residential standards. Remaining portions of exposed soil, post-remediation, will be used to calculate final site representative concentrations for the contaminants of concern. Concrete covered areas will be assumed as a zero exposure and will not be included in representative concentration calculations. The data comparisons will be to applicable cleanup standards published in MRBCA Technical Guidance dated June 2006. These standards include MRBCA Default Target Levels (DTLs) and Risk-Based Target Levels (RBTLs) that represent acceptable chemical concentrations regardless of site-specific conditions. Additionally, comparisons will be made to background metal levels found in Xxxxxx County from the United States Geological Survey’s (USGSs) National Geochemical Survey Database.
